aufgefuehrten fremden Bestandteile. Alle mit LGPL lizenzierten Bibliotheken
sind DYNAMISCH gebunden und liegen als eigene .so-/.dll-Dateien im Paket —
genau die Bedingung, unter der eine proprietaere Anwendung sie nutzen darf:
wer will, kann sie durch eine eigene Fassung ersetzen.

1. FFmpeg — LGPL-2.1-or-later
-----------------------------
Fassung 7.1.1, von uns selbst gebaut. Verwendet werden libavcodec,
libavformat, libavfilter, libavutil, libswscale und libswresample fuer das
Lesen, Bearbeiten und Schreiben von Bild- und Videodateien.

🚫 WICHTIG: Es ist ausdruecklich NICHT der Bau der Distribution. Ubuntus
libavcodec ist mit --enable-gpl konfiguriert (x264 und x265 stecken darin);
eine proprietaere Anwendung darf nicht dagegen linken. Unser Bau enthaelt
weder GPL- noch "nonfree"-Bestandteile. Die vollstaendige Konfiguration:

uebernommen. Das Bauskript liegt diesem Paket als build-ffmpeg.sh bei; damit
laesst sich die mitgelieferte Bibliothek Bit fuer Bit nachbauen und ersetzen.

2. libvpx (VP9) — BSD-3-Clause
------------------------------
Der Software-Encoder. Er schreibt VP9 in WebM und kommt zum Einsatz, wenn die
Maschine keinen Video-Encoder in der Grafikkarte hat.

WARUM ER UND NICHT H.264: Die Patente an H.264 gehoeren der MPEG-LA. Wer H.264
auf der Grafikkarte kodiert, nutzt die Lizenz, die der Hersteller des Chips
bezahlt hat. Ein MITGELIEFERTER Software-Encoder haette diese Deckung nicht —
Ciscos Freistellung fuer OpenH264 gilt nur fuer die von Cisco selbst
veroeffentlichten Binaerdateien. libvpx ist von Google ausdruecklich
patentfrei gestellt; damit bekommt jede Maschine ein Ergebnis, und die Frage
ist geschlossen. Entschieden von Josef am 06.09.2026.

🚫 OpenH264 ist deshalb NICHT im Paket. `scripts/build-ffmpeg.sh` baut ohne
`--enable-libopenh264`, und ein Gate weigert sich, wenn es doch darin steht.

3. libopus — BSD-3-Clause
-------------------------
Der Ton in WebM. Matroska/WebM erlaubt kein AAC; Opus ist dort der Standard.

🚫 libsamplerate steht hier, weil das Lizenz-Gate sie gefunden hat, nicht weil
jemand an sie gedacht haette: SDL2 zieht sie mit, und sie reist damit im Paket.
Die Bibliothek selbst ist seit Fassung 0.1.9 BSD-2-Clause — die GPL-Eintraege
in ihrer copyright-Datei betreffen Bau-Hilfsskripte (src/check_asm.sh, die
m4-Makros), die nicht in die Bibliothek eingehen. Nachgesehen am
Debian-copyright, Abschnitt "Files: *".

🚫 DIE SCHRIFT-SUBSETS TRAGEN EINEN ANDEREN NAMEN als ihre Quelle. Die
OFL verlangt das fuer jede geaenderte Fassung, und „Noto" ist ausserdem eine
Marke von Google. Die mitgelieferten Dateien heissen deshalb
`jsMediaEditorCJK.ttf` (1059 Zeichen), `jsMediaEditorDeva.ttf`,
`jsMediaEditorBeng.ttf`, `jsMediaEditorThai.ttf` und `jsMediaEditorArab.ttf`.
Ohne sie saehen Nutzer von ja, zh, ko, hi, ne, bn, th, fa und ur in der
Sandbox leere Kaestchen — dort gibt es keine Systemschrift, die einspringt.
Erzeugt werden sie mit scripts/make_cjk_font.py und make_script_fonts.py.

Monocypher ist der einzige Bestandteil, der fest einkompiliert ist. Das ist
zulaessig: die BSD-2-Clause verlangt dafuer nur die Weitergabe des
Lizenztextes, und der steht unten unter B.


5. LibRaw — LGPL-2.1-or-later (wahlweise CDDL-1.0)
----------------------------------------------
Fassung 0.21.x, DYNAMISCH gebunden. Sie entwickelt die Rohformate der Kameras
(DNG, CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, ORF, RAF, RW2, SRW, PEF, SRF, X3F, 3FR, IIQ) zu einem
sichtbaren Bild: Schwarzpunkt, Weissabgleich, Demosaic, Gamma. FFmpeg kann das
nicht — diese Dateien sind TIFF-Varianten mit herstellereigenen Daten.

LibRaw steht unter ZWEI Lizenzen zur Wahl; wir nutzen sie unter der LGPL-2.1.
Damit gilt dieselbe Bedingung wie bei FFmpeg: dynamisch gebunden, als eigene
Datei im Paket, austauschbar. Quelle: https://www.libraw.org/

6. Little CMS (lcms2) — MIT
------------------------------
Farbprofile. Kommt mit LibRaw und wird deshalb mit ausgeliefert.

7. Die GCC-Laufzeitbibliotheken — GPL-3.0 mit GCC Runtime Library Exception
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Betroffen sind drei Bibliotheken, die der GCC-Uebersetzer selbst beisteuert:

  libgomp      die OpenMP-Laufzeit — nur, wenn LibRaw mit OpenMP gebaut wurde
  libgcc_s     die Laufzeitunterstuetzung des Uebersetzers (Windows-Fassung)
  libstdc++    die C++-Standardbibliothek (Windows-Fassung)

🚫 WICHTIG: Alle drei stehen unter der GPL-3 — tragbar sind sie NUR wegen der
GCC Runtime Library Exception, die das Binden aus beliebigem Code erlaubt,
solange mit GCC uebersetzt wurde ("Eligible Compilation Process"). Ohne diese
Ausnahme duerfte diese Anwendung sie nicht mitliefern.

Unter Linux stammen libgcc_s und libstdc++ aus dem System und reisen nicht
mit; dort ist nur libgomp betroffen, und die faellt weg, sobald LibRaw mit
-DENABLE_OPENMP=OFF gebaut wird. Die Windows-Fassung liefert libgcc_s und
libstdc++ mit (auf einem Windows-Rechner gibt es sie nicht), aber KEIN
libgomp: der eigene LibRaw-Bau (scripts/vm/build-libraw.sh) schaltet OpenMP
ab, und ein Gate prueft an der fertigen DLL nach, dass sie nicht daran haengt.

8. Die Windows-Fassung — was im Paket liegt
------------------------------------------
Unter Linux stellt die Distribution die Laufzeit; unter Windows gibt es keine,
also reist ALLES mit. Die folgenden 46 Bibliotheken liegen im MSIX neben der
Programmdatei. Zu jeder liegt ihr Lizenztext im Ordner `licenses\` des Pakets
— scripts/vm/stage-runtime.sh LEHNT DEN BAU AB, wenn zu einer ausgelieferten
Datei keiner da ist (MSYS2 legt nicht zu jedem Paket einen Lizenzordner ab).

🚫 libgomp ist NICHT dabei. Das LibRaw von MSYS2 zieht sie mit; ausgeliefert
wird deshalb ein EIGENER LibRaw-Bau mit abgeschaltetem OpenMP, und ein Gate
prueft an der fertigen DLL nach (siehe Abschnitt 7).

🚫 Und KEIN FFmpeg von MSYS2. Dessen Paket ist mit --enable-gpl gebaut; das
Staging lehnt eine av*/sw*-DLL ab, die nicht aus dem eigenen Prefix stammt.

Nicht mitgeliefert werden die Bibliotheken von Windows selbst (KERNEL32,
USER32, ole32, shell32, msvcrt …) — sie gehoeren zum Betriebssystem.


9. Was NICHT enthalten ist
--------------------------
  * x264, x265 und jede andere GPL-Komponente — sie wuerden die ganze
    Anwendung unter die GPL stellen.
  * OpenH264 — die Lizenz waere in Ordnung, die PATENTE nicht (siehe 2.).
  * Bibliotheken mit "nonfree"-Schalter (fdk-aac, OpenSSL in FFmpeg).
  * Bilder, Symbole oder Schriften aus fremden Sammlungen. Das Logo und jedes
    Symbol der Oberflaeche sind selbst gezeichnet; die Symbole entstehen zur
    Laufzeit als Vektorpfade (src/ui/icons.cpp).
  * Material aus einer Bild-KI.
